Construction Innovations is seeking a self-motivated, creative problem solver to serve as Product Manager.
This position is responsible to organize, plan and prioritize the continuous improvement and maintenance of current established product lines as well as the implementation of new product creation.
Product types may apply to utility-scale PV solar plants, other renewable energy plants, commercial building and industrial, or substation, transmission and distribution projects.
The Product Manager will work closely with Product Engineers, Project Managers, Project Coordinators and other internal department personnel in the successful production and implementation of the product(s).
The ideal candidate will have the ability to balance the day-to-day product needs of scheduling, design deliverables, and production requirements while maintaining a long-range vision of their product lines.
Responsibilities:
Review project contracts, plans, and specifications, relating to the assigned product line and understand the needs of the end customer.
Manage scheduling of product and ensuring its successful completion - from design and detailing through production and delivery - working with Project Coordinators and Project Managers to understand customer scheduling needs.
Understand the capacity of production as it relates to assigned product line and communicate that capacity back to the Sales Team.
Maintain and manage Work Breakdown Structures for assigned product lines and assess and forecast achievable delivery dates.
Deeply understand the process from design through delivery to ensure successful issue free product delivery to customer.
Collect feedback on product performance and communicate to Product Engineers and other internal stakeholders.
Examine estimates, budgets, costs and financial reporting as it applies to assigned product(s) or product line(s).
Provide feedback on progress of products and budget to staff and management.
Analyze change scopes and provide cost and schedule impacts for change requests to Project Coordinators and Project Managers.
Effectively resolve complaints and issues.
Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and help generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
Travel to manufacturing facility or project job site as often as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The Product Manager spends most of their time in an office environment, but will frequently spend time at the company's manufacturing plant, or occasionally at the project site.
The office is an open and collaborative space where work is performed both independently and with the team.
When at the plant, work is performed in a more traditional manufacturing environment, with higher noise levels and frequent movement of people and equipment.
When on-site, the environment is that of a construction job site, which may be in fairly remote rural locations, and where extreme weather conditions may be encountered.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This position reports directly to the Director of Product Management CAREER ADVANCEMENT:
Career advancement at Construction Innovations is possible with all positions, but is not guaranteed.
Advancement could be within the current department or to other departments within the company.
LOCATION:
Construction Innovations facilities and offices are located in Sacramento, CA and Mather, CA.
COMPENSATION:
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $63,500 - $96,200.
The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job related factors.
It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

years' experience as a Product Manager or equivalent position in the construction or manufacturing industries PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to verbally communicate:

Ability to hear with or without correction in order to receive and interpret detailed information.
Required to sit at a desk work station for long periods of time.
Push, pull, lift, and carry at least 10 pounds.
Frequently required to walk and stand.
This position may involve infrequent site visits which will require the ability to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Required to have visual acuity with or without correction in order to read contract documents, analyze data, view a computer monitor, and proof-read documents to identify errors.
Required to use fingers and hands:
